Sipping Tea in reverent silence, I listen and I hear...
I empty out to fill up with the new.
Ideas come in the silence.
Transformation happens in the stillness.
Surrender is in the knowing that your life purpose evolves continuously.
There was a time in my life when my earliest memory of determination and clarity came in the form of fiction writing and prose. I wanted to be a writer, and I dedicated years to honing that craft, perfecting my work and role as a beauty editor at Harper's BAZAAR Malaysia and then later in a senior digital media role at South China Morning Post in Hong Kong.
I was obsessed with bettering myself. I was also writing fiction on the side, of which had once found representation with a literary agent based in London (the disintegration that came afterwards is a whole other story for another day!).
And then there was a time when I crossed paths with a purpose to help others in their spiritual growth - and that was when I was guided by Tea Spirit to make a huge leap into the unknown.
The soul's purpose is to unfold you deeper into your true cosmic magnificence, or as the Daoist sages and mystics would say, aligned with the Dao.
I started to remember. I found home within me. The sense of belonging I had searched for so long... I met that inside of me as I held that first bowl of Tea in the ceremony.
My journey to where I am today as a mentor to multidimensional leaders and Cha Dao Ceremonial Keeper continues to evolve...
Because I continue to surrender to the greater Dao.
And the women who come into my vortex continue to mirror my growth and evolution.
Every one of them reminds me of the limitless potential that is accessible when the Goddess within is unleashed.
I am in awe by their openness to alchemy and transformation, their commitment to their elevation, their evolution, their devotion to the liminal...
And it only ever takes that one bold move.
To play big.
To stay the course.
To believe in something different from the norm.
