As your sense of self begins to fall away you feel this feathery lightness tickling your closed eyes.

This time as a speck of light
That turns into a dim illumination,
A firefly of awareness
Burning away the pall of the mind.
No-mind
No-thought.
Can you see yourself now, my love?
Can you see now that the scales of unconsciousness have fallen, my love?
The awakening of the no-mind is not about becoming detached from worldly woes and walking the world a recluse;
You may of course if you want to, my love.
But what it really is is a state of harmony that offers you clarity to see what burdens you have been carrying within you,
The triggers that set you off into a tailspin even when you have no idea why;
The sorrows and frustration that wrought your body and bent your bones to suit their will;
The secrets and resistance that push you mentally to starve your body just to frantically feel you are not alone.
I know this, my love.
I see this all, my love.
But what if I told you
In this Leaf of stillness
This reverent silence that purifies you of unconscious manipulation by your thoughts.
While your mind is put to rest,
Your heart beginning to open her doors and soar,
You could leave all this behind and feel free,
Free to be a human who rides into love with a full heart and crests the waves of pain with ardent hope.
