When there is a question like this, it presents an excellent opportunity to pursue an underlying "unseen" question.
The real ❓here is: Why am I asking for permission to exist?
Because this is what it is. Asking a question like this shows you what you may not have wanted to see.
When you are controlling your weight, food, and body size, you have no time left to think about what really is nudging at you to take a look deeper within.
😔 The self-doubt.
🤕 The trauma.
😖 The emotions and feelings of which you are "too busy" or "too tired" to take care.
🤦🏻♀️ The sense of brokenness and failure you feel in your bones.
🙍🏻♀️ How you feel so fucking ugly and can't look yourself in the face in the mirror.
👉🏻 What if you knew that all it takes to initiate change is a daily practice to which you devote an hour to cultivate? (1 out of 24 hours － that's a speck in the cosmos!)

🎋 "How can a person know Dao? By the Heart.
How can the Heart know? By emptiness, the pure attention that purifies being and quietude.
The Heart is never without treasure, yet it is called empty...
The Heart is alive and it possesses knowledge, it knows, and from knowing makes distinctions. To make distinctions is to know all parts of the whole at once."
📿 With such a daily practice, be it inner or outer work, we learn to maintain non-attachment.
Non-attachment, quite simply, is absolutely different from detachment.
✅ In short, a. Practise eating without attachment to how your body will change because the truth is how you fear it will change is an illusion, and
✅ b. Your body is constantly changing anyway, whether you are controlling it or not.
✅ Practise exercising without attachment to the result. 🤫 This might sound outrageous － I am not saying don't have an end goal but I am saying work out without severely attaching yourself to the desired outcome and remaining flexible and open to how your body is going to react.
🌟 So often, we overcomplicate matters when all we need is a little bit of faith to keep moving toward what can truly set us free.
