One important Tea lesson is one I always spend a good amount of my time doing while communing with Tea Spirit, and that is embodying my vortex of stillness before I serve.
Whether it is to serve others or my own Highest Self/inner child/ancestors/Goddesses/the divine, I remember my Tea teacher's words: Never ever, ever ever (times xxx) pick up the kettle until your heart and mind are still.
The energy exchange goes like this:
Tea Spirit never sees me as broken. She is unconditionally loving. She sends her light through me.
I harness a vortex of stillness to allow Her to come in fully. In my space, all who come to heal are exactly as Tea Spirit sees me － whole and completely worthy.
They are not helpless, neither are they broken.
It is from this space that healing becomes incredibly potent because no longer is it tied to a linear time line. No longer is it based on logic.
We have given over to a higher power, an energy that comes forth when we reverently ask for Her to presence Herself.
Plant medicine open up for us when we respectfully hold them in their full power.
In ceremony, we feel empowered and inspired to rise above the helplessness that perhaps you have felt before walking into this space. A certain quality comes into that vortex of stillness that reminds us all of our wholeness, of our cosmic magnificence.
This is when the Highest Self presences Herself. Tea Spirit has always been inviting us to meet Her.
Now in this liminal space where alchemy is the fire we walk through to get into the watery elements of transformation, the doorway is wide open for you to walk through.
This life purpose is an unfolding of your cosmic magnificence. This is the bigger context from which you live, instead of the survivorship complex of a mind attached to a body.
