When you catch yourself criticising how you look, remember that you are buying into a longstanding conditioning that has kept women playing way too small for far too long. Loving yourself is THE revolution. 🤍
Since my anorexic days, which lasted for a good ten years of my life, I have been able to see beyond what women have been so often taught to be.
😱 Shrink your body.
🍑 Don't have such a big booty or boobs, it attracts attention.
I also drew parallel lines of the ways the patriarchy has systematically created restrictions for women's bodies with the way we have been raised to manage money.
🌦 Save up for a rainy day!
💸 You don't want to be frivolous － money don't grow on trees.
👸 Don't buy anything for yourself. Do you deserve it, little princess?
👿 Are you crazy? How do you know if it works? What if it fails?
🤡 Always put someone else's needs before you. Their happiness are your responsibility.
When I woke up from these constructs that have governed my identity for most of my life, a lot of people I used to call friends, and the lifestyle I had built, had to fall away.
Going through it all was indeed a journey of self-love. I really would not have been able to do it alone － and the one thing that keeps opening up door after door to remembering my wholeness as a cosmic being, energy embodied, a divine Goddess and a witch reincarnate, was the thirst to serve.
My body is always communicating with me, and I have learnt to tell what is a yes and a no to my body.
And most importantly, honour that instead of stuffing it out and down with a choice that is made to appease someone else.
My heart knows better than I do, always.
I let faith win over fear, always.
This vortex of stillness that I have cultivated is not just a glimmer of hope now － it is truly where I live. It is my breath. It is me.
My work now bows to the ancient wisdom and spiritual guidance I receive from ancestors of mine and beyond. I also carry the medicine of Tea Spirit with deep reverence and wish to share this harmonious Mother Gaia's gifts with all, for She is truly the Divine incarnate.
My work is here to release women from their fears to go onto lead with purpose, to become miracle perceivers and to teach them to walk the Dao with an understanding of their evolution and authentic power so they can align with abundance, freedom and unstoppable vision effortlessly.
When we rise from matter to spirit and go into the beyond, what is resonant in the no-thingness is the frequency of love.
