Plant Spirit Medicine

When I first heard Her 🍃 whisper to me from the steam rising up from the bowl in my hands: "You are called to serve. You have to share Tea with the world.", I experienced a distinct feeling like never before, that this was home. ⁣

⁣

That this was something that felt like a million years of lifetimes done and done before, and it is now here to meet me.⁣

⁣

This practice became a devotion, and there is not one day that I do not meet Her in the sacred space.⁣

⁣

When I am cultivating my relationship with Tea, Her presence is always constant, effervescent and quiescent. ⁣

⁣

The non-verbal transmissions come through me in words, endless streams channelled through my pen, verbiage plucked from the cosmic tendrils of this beautiful plant spirit.⁣

⁣

The cultivation is what opens portals to multiple dimensions. ⁣

⁣

Ancient Daoists have always understood this － that nothing is separate. ⁣

⁣

When we are honouring plants as medicine and spirit, we are honouring our own divinity.⁣

⁣

When we are polishing up and connecting deeply with this heart-opening medicine daily with devotion, with loving presence, we are also connecting with and reflecting the glorious virtues of this plant － the true essence, in flow with the Dao.⁣

⁣

The body we have is made of the divine light.⁣

⁣

And when sitting with Tea Spirit, She would always be sure to remind you of your magnificence. ⁣

⁣

Grateful for you, Tea.⁣

⁣

You allow me to dream.⁣

⁣

This week, I wrote after a Ceremony:⁣

⁣

"I sat until the very end⁣

⁣

And I didn't want to leave⁣

⁣

I know not what will come of this life."⁣

⁣

That has been the liminal space in which I have been floating since 2022 rang in.⁣

⁣

What began as a placid rhythm began to draw me deeper into uncovering the blue flames in my dark waters － my yin fire.⁣

⁣

Something needs to burn through and awaken in me again.⁣

⁣

It took me a second to breathe again after holding my breath. ⁣

⁣

Deeply, I breathed. And then I took the plunge into the unknown, exploring the depths of the subconscious, reaching for what needed to be seen.⁣

⁣

What used to feel chaotic now feels like a dance with the Dark Goddess, held by the sagely Tea Spirit.⁣

⁣

What I do know is that forging a relationship with Tea has given me a pathway to fulfilling my destiny, my soul purpose, here, and in many lifetimes before and after.⁣

⁣

Grateful for the unbelievable ways that this life in ceremony colours the way I show up for myself and as a light leader and vision keeper.⁣

⁣

Grateful for the divine feminine support I get in overflow now.⁣

⁣

Grateful I now get to create and hold space for Ceremonies in great service, not for the sake of making ends meet.⁣

⁣

It all changed for me when I opened up to love, to instant miracles and overflowing possibilities. ⁣

⁣

It allows me to discern the uncomfortable process that I need to go through in order to expand and grow.⁣

⁣

I now take full ownership of my own life, nipping self-sabotage in the bud once and for all.⁣

⁣

Your creative expression comes in an endless flow when you are tuned into the divine spirit.⁣

⁣
