"How Can I Just Eat Like Her?"

Your friend is sitting across from you, unaware of how you are beaming your pair of widened eyes at her as she digs into her big slice of chocolate cake with great rapture.⁣

Each time she wedges in the side of her fork into another piece of that cake, a little piece inside of you crumbles too, as you hear a whirlwind of endless thoughts swirl about your head: ⁣

😵 "How does she keep eating anything she wants without putting on any weight?"⁣

😵 "How does she eat so much and still stay so skinny?"⁣

😲 "How can I eat anything I want without having to overcompensate with hours of exercising everyday and not gain weight?"⁣

😩 "HOW CAN I JUST BE LIKE HER?"⁣

Instead of asking,⁣

These questions are born out of a coping mechanism.⁣

The truth is, this protective personality with an eating disorder is created to keep you surviving the pain you are suppressing. ⁣

What really needs to be asked here instead, with compassion and no judgement, is:⁣

🌟🤍 "Why am I trying to control myself around food all the time?"⁣

🌟🤍 "What does it take for me to go out with my friends and family to enjoy a drink or a meal and not feel guilty and cry after?"⁣

🌟🤍 "Why do I fear food?"⁣

And a beautiful question to truly open up your heart to receiving the visionary and higher frequency of your Soulful, Essential Self:⁣

🌟🎈 "What does it take to live my best, most present life?"⁣ 🌟
