About the Event
For over 3,000 years, the mid-autumn festival is celebrated widely in Asian cultures with the sacred rituals of worshipping the moon and reunion with families and friends far and wide. This year's mid-autumn festival coincides with the full moon in Aries, a time when la luna is amplified with the spearheading energies of the fire sign.
This is going to be an extra special moon circle as not only will we be honouring the moon in her fullness, we will also be celebrating the legendary mythical moon goddess Chang-Er.
Tea Ceremony
Tea is used in Cha Dao for Her innate quietude, her capability to calm and sharpen the mind at the same time, and her gentle ways of opening the heart through communion and reconnection with Nature. There is a saying in Cha Dao that as we pour Tea, we become the Tea. The Dao is the "flow" of the Universe, and to become at one with the Dao is at the very core of manifestation - for when we get out of our own way, so too will the Universe get to work without resistance that is so often imposed by our very own fear and inhibitions.

You can be particularly drawn to the powers of Tea ceremonies when...
- You are ready to stop the narrative that doesn't allow you to be the star of your show
- You would like to deepen your intuition
- You desire to awaken to abundance and fullness of life
- You want to be able to mindfully observe your thoughts and cure obsessive thinking for good.
Cha Dao (The Way of Tea) is a way of life that, through meditation with Tea, can teach us to let go and surrender to the flow of the Universe, to notice the minutae and gently melt away our hardened hearts to reveal our true authentic self. Taoist sages and Zen monks have sat with Tea many centuries ago to turn their gazes inward, and metaphorically travel to the depths of the windswept mountaintop for serenity and enlightenment. A life devoted to Cha Dao will allow you feel that sense of tranquillity seep into your everyday life, even when you are not drinking Tea. The truth is in the Tea: When everything is a ceremony, everything you see and do and feel is divine.
