Today marks the birthday celebration of Avalokitesvara, Kuan Shi Yin Pusa, Guan Yin, Goddess of Compassion. The Divine, whose beautiful name means "Listening to All Sounds of The World", has three birthdays, and this is her second, a day to remember and thank her for leaving behind the dust of the world and giving up nirvana to dedicate her life to guiding living mortals to the sacred land of Purity. 🕊➰ I am a child of syncretism, a systematic blend of old and new age religions to form new societal establishments of thought. What I do know is that Love and Compassion prevail, and always will. As with all things in Cha Dao, there is no one religion's song that we sing; there is no motives to impose any views or change any minds. We are only here to open our hearts, and through open hearts, wisdom pours forth and into our every fibre － here is a steaming bowl of Tea, waiting for you. Everyone is welcomed. 🌿🧡☯️
